The Frost Saxophone Ensemble, under the direction of Professor of Saxophone Dale Underwood, is comprised of graduate and undergraduate students at the Frost School of Music in Coral Gables, Florida.  The mission of the ensemble is to perform a diverse range of entertaining and educational repertoire while simultaneously challenging its student musicians to grow in their art form.  FSE places a strong focus on the premiering of works composed or arranged by students and faculty as well as collaborating with guest faculty artists.  FSE is one of the few saxophone ensembles in the world to utilize a contrabass saxophone.
