South Florida Horn Bash

The Second Annual South Florida Horn Bash will be held October 19th in the Knight Center for Innovation and is hosted by the Frost School of Music. All horn players in the greater South Florida area are encouraged to attend what promises to be an exciting event. Many aspects of horn playing will be addressed – warmups, solo playing, excerpts, horn choir, career building, and college prep. Along with this, many music vendors will be available to trial horns, mouthpieces, and other accessories.  Guest artist Martin Hackleman and Performer Amber Dean will perform and give a master class, all culminating in a live performance as part of the Frost Symphonic Winds concert at 4 pm. ARTIST BIOS

This year’s guests are Martin Hackleman, Professor of Horn at the University of Missouri Kansas City; Amber Dean, Principal Horn of West Palm Beach Symphony; and Richard Todd, Associate Professor of Horn at the Frost School of Music.
