The Frost Seminar Winds performs for the wind conducting program, under the direction of Michael Hancock. The conducting winds meets for one hour once per week. This affords the Frost School of Music graduate conducting students the opportunity to practice their craft and exposes the members of the chamber winds to a broad and educationally rich repertoire.  The woodwinds, brass, and percussion also come from the Henry Mancini Institute in conjunction with assignments from their principal teachers. The repertoire is wide-ranging, from Gabrieli to new music, generally from the traditional chamber winds repertoire. This ensemble performs on occasion at special events once per semester during their regular meeting time.
