The Frost Flute Studio presents the culmination of a year-long project exploring literature written by BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) composers. Under the direction of Frost’s Jennifer Grim, Associate Professor of Flute, this playlist's diverse repertoire spans the globe and musical genres. From India to Ghana, Japan to America, it includes works by Vanraj Bhatia, Valerie Coleman, George Lewis, Lei Liang, Allison Loggins-Hull, Brian Raphael Nabors, Fred Onovwerosuoke, Carlos Patiño, Carlos Simon, Asha Srinivasan, and Orlando “Maraca” Valle.
